What we do

ACGN Subculture Street Stereotypes Experiment
we launched the ACGN Subculture Street Stereotypes Experiment to raise awareness about implicit biases toward ACGN groups and promote inclusivity. We designed an engaging quiz for 45 passersby, asking them to guess the characteristics of stereotyped protagonists to see how people associate traits with the ACGN community. We also collected word descriptions from participants, generating word clouds and stereotype maps to present our findings. These visuals sparked reflective discussions, encouraging participants to challenge their biases and better appreciate subcultures.

Otaku Dance
Our weekly otaku dance sessions offer members a lively and energetic space to express themselves. It's a time for everyone to let loose and experience the joy of dancing together, embracing the fun side of ACGN culture through choreography inspired by popular anime and music.

Scriptwriting
Delving into the design of anime plots gives us a deeper understanding of the fundamental structure of storytelling in the anime world. Through collaborative brainstorming, we inspire each other and come up with new and exciting ideas for scripts, creating our own stories and characters along the way

Personal Sharing
Each member of our club has their own unique interests within the ACGN community. Through personal sharing sessions, we get the chance to introduce our favorite topics, anime series, or games to the rest of the club. It's a great way for everyone to discover new aspects of ACGN and deepen our understanding of this rich culture.

Subculture Week
Our club collaborates with other school clubs to organize a variety of engaging activities during Subculture Week, aimed at spreading awareness and appreciation for subcultures like ACGN. These events allow the entire school to learn about and engage with different facets of subculture, fostering a more inclusive environment where creativity and diversity are celebrated.
